Chay Valenski arrived at the Carlisle Indian School on August 23, 1906 and would leave the school on August 11, 1911 but this was because of tuberculosis. The schools follow up report shows that Valenski worked as an interpreter and general worker at the Good Shepherd Hospital in Fort Defiance, Arizona. Was also an interpreter and missionary in Indian Wells in 1914. Then would go to study in Tolchaco, Arizona in 1915.
