Sophia American Horse would arrive at Carlisle Indian School on February 27, 1892. There at Carlisle, she would become a pupil teacher. Sophia American Horse would graduate from Carlisle on March 12, 1903. After Carlisle, she would marry a man named Joseph A. Marisette and live in Kyle South Dakota in 1913.
