Alexander Baird arrived at the Carlisle Indian School on September 29, 1894 and would leave the school on July 3, 1897. The school follow up report showed that he was working in DeKalb, Illinois as a fence maker in 1913. Baird was also a student at the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas.
