Nina Carlisle arrived at Carlisle Indian School on September 15, 1889. It is most likely that she was the daughter of Thomas Carlisle who, at the time, was enrolled at the time when Nina was entered into the school. Nina would leave the school on June 21, 1909. Nina would first work as a domestic in Beverly, New Jersey in 1910. Then she would move out to Wichita, Kansas working as a housewife in 1911.
