William Colombe arrived at Carlisle Indian School on October 19, 1895 but would leave the school in 1899 when he enlisted into the United States Army. He would fight in the Philippine-American War. The William Colombe would settle down in Lamro, South Dakota in 1910 where he worked as a farmer.
