Julia Given arrived at the Carlisle Indian School on August 31, 1882 and would leave the school on October 30, 1893. The schools follow up report showed that Julia was working as a field matron at the Kiowa Agency in Gotebo, Oklahoma in 1911. But would change to being a housewife in 1913 in the same town of Gotebo, Oklahoma.
