Miles, Benajah

Benajah Miles had arrived at Carlisle Indian School on October 22, 1883.  While at Carlisle Miles was apart of a base ball club known as “The Red Men” and had worked the printing office at the school.  Benajah Miles would graduate on July 22, 1892.  After graduating it would seem that Miles worked as a government school farmers in 1892 in the Indian territories.  Then would work for Indian service as a assistant Blacksmith in 1907 located at Calumet, Oklahoma.  Then was a farmer in El Reno, Oklahoma in 1910.  Miles would return to settle down in Calumet, Oklahoma in 1911.
