Roman Nose, Henry C.

Henry C. Roman Nose arrived at Carlisle Indian School on October 6, 1879 and would leave on September 18, 1883.  Henry Roman Nose was a prisoner and original member of the group from Fort Marion, St. Augustine, Florida.  From there was also part of the Fort Marion group that went to the Hampton Institute and then was part of the early student of the Carlisle Indian School.  After leaving Carlisle a report shows that he was a farmer in Bickford, Oklahoma from 1910 to 1914.  Henry Roman Nose went on to become Chief of the Cheyennes.
