Edwin Schanandore arrived at the Carlisle Indian School on November 7, 1885 and would leave the school on July 16, 1892 though he graduated in 1889. While at Carlisle, he studied baking and the after school report shows that he lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1913. He would also live in Flandreau, South Dakota in 1917.
