Jessie Spreads Hands arrived at Carlisle Indian School on September 6, 1880. While at Carlisle Jessie had been taught in the trad of sewing and laundry. She would leave Carlisle on April 23, 1895. After leaving Carlisle Jessie would show up in a report living in Cantonment, Oklahoma in 1910 working as a housewife. Then Jessie would be in Eagle city, Oklahoma in 1914 and was working as a housewife still.
