Charles Thompson arrived at the Carlisle Indian School on October 16, 1909 but a date on when they left the school was not given. What is know is that from the schools followup report shows that Thompson was working a a rancher in Poplar, Montana in 1910. Then in 1911 worked as both a policeman and farmer in Poplar, Montana and then fully dedicated himself to farming in Poplar, Montana in 1914.
